A Seed-stage fintech in New York is hiring its third engineer. The product moves money for small businesses, so correctness matters more than speed, and the founders want someone who has owned a payments or ledger system before.
What you’ll do
- Own the ledger, payments and reconciliation services (TypeScript, Postgres, AWS).
- Work directly with the CTO on architecture and the roadmap.
- Set the engineering standards the next ten hires will inherit.
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years backend experience, with at least one system that handled money.
- Comfort shipping without a PM or QA team.
- Based in or willing to be in New York two days a week.
